Dr. Rebecca Padot (MGA/MPA '01, MA '05, Ph.D. '11), Host, Leaders Portfolio
Leaders Portfolio is a CEO leadership interview show broadcasting in the Washington, DC area with top leaders (from Fortune 1000/Inc. 500 CEOS to CEOs of smaller, yet award-winning businesses). CEOs are selected to appear after they have demonstrated patterns of success in their business sector. Leaders Portfolio audiocasts are designed to share the leader’s approach and philosophy, challenges and successes, and methods for navigating their market sector during the present economic climate to become better leaders. Dr. Padot has interviewed over 300 CEOs and will be sharing leadership insights from her interviews.
Dr. Rebecca Padot is an Assistant Professor at Misericordia University in the Department of History and Government. She received her graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania (Ph.D. in Political Science, M.G.A./M.P.A. at the Fels Institute of Government and an M.A. in Political Science) and has twice presented her research at The White House.
Dr. Padot’s book, The Politics of Foster Care Administration in the United States (Routledge Press, 2015) examines foster care systems in the states of Delaware, Michigan, New York, and Rhode Island to expose the conditions under which foster care outcomes can be improved.
