Sacha Samotin is a Co-Founder of Applecart, one of the country’s leading political data and analytics companies. Part high-level strategic political consultant, part data-driven R+D lab, Applecart develops innovative technical solutions custom-built to solve the most significant problems facing the nation’s largest political, non-profit, and corporate organizations. In the 2014 political cycle, Applecart’s data and analytics efforts produced a 100% win rate in races where Applecart was engaged, yielding unexpected, decisive victories for Gubernatorial, Senatorial, and Congressional candidates in several of the cycle’s most competitive races. Applecart currently serves as the data and analytics backbone for a major 2016 U.S. presidential campaign and SuperPAC, as well as some of the largest national and statewide advocacy and political organizations in the United States and beyond. Applecart’s work has been featured in Bloomberg BusinessWeek, The New York Times, among other prominent outlets. Prior to starting Applecart, Sacha served as a Congressional Page and worked as Assistant to the Campaign Manager on Former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman's 2012 Presidential campaign. A 2015 Jeopardy! quiz show champion, home interpreter of modernist cooking techniques, and avid New York Yankees fan; Sacha graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015 and currently lives in New York City.
