Children’s Healthcare is a Legal Duty (CHILD USA)

Fellowship Description

The Fox Fellows with CHILD USA work closely with the CHILD USA Founder and CEO Professor Marci Hamilton on number of research projects related to child welfare, protecting kids and preventing abuse. While the ongoing list of research projects can change from time to time, past research projects have included:

  • Research on educational neglect across the county
  • Research on abuse and neglect of athletes
  • Research on prevention of child sex abuse and child sex trafficking
  • Research on medical neglect of children

In the past, fellows have also assisted with communications and social media projects for CHILD USA and have planned on-campus events (including film screenings and speaker series) for the University community.

Fellowship positions with CHILD USA during the fall or spring semesters are paid, part-time opportunities. Students are expected to work 8 - 12 hours a week.

Summer fellows are expected to work full time for CHILD USA in Philadelphia.
